Today
2020–today The future
With new products, Nordic expansion, digital development and a new headquarters in Lund, Lindinvent is taking the next step into the future. The focus is on developing smart, energy-efficient and user-friendly solutions that meet the growing needs of properties for better control, increased flexibility and clearer insights.
New headquarters in Lund
In July, Lindinvent will move to a new headquarters in Lund. The move marks the next step in our development – with larger, brighter and more purpose-designed premises for continued innovation, collaboration and growth.
Nordic expansion
In 2021, Lindinvent ApS is founded in Denmark, and we take on major projects in both Malmö and Trondheim. In 2024, Lindinvent AS is established in Norway – an important step in our continued Nordic expansion.
New products and growing markets
In 2020, we launch our popular supply air device ISQ and its free-hanging counterpart ISQ-F, as well as the tenant app INOFFIX. In 2022, ISQ-V and DCV-B are launched, while projects in Stockholm and Gothenburg strengthen our presence in the metropolitan regions.
Expansion
2010–2019 Growing presence
During the 2010s, Lindinvent grows both geographically and technically. New offices, more projects and a broader offering strengthen our presence in the market. At the same time, our digital tools and system solutions develop, laying the foundation for a more comprehensive offering in indoor climate, lighting and solar shading.
Expansion and new offices
In 2018, we broaden our offering with DALI lighting control and solar shading control, while new offices are opened in Linköping and Umeå. In 2019, the expansion continues with a new office in Gothenburg, an extension of the headquarters in Lund and major installations in Stockholm and Umeå.
Award and expansion
We are named "Årets företagare" in the Municipality of Lund. At the same time, we open an office in Stockholm – a natural step in our geographical growth strategy.
Software focus and digital tools
LINDINSPECT® and TTC are launched – two digital solutions that change how our systems are visualized and managed. The foundation for our future interface is laid.
Anniversary and new identity
We celebrate 15 years as a company and update our visual identity to the look many recognize today. This year, we also begin developing the software we now call LINDINSPECT®.
Technological breakthrough
2000–2009 Innovation and development
During the 2000s, Lindinvent takes several important technological steps forward. New products, smarter control and recognized innovations strengthen our role as a technology-driven company. It is also a period in which projects grow, our solutions gain greater impact and Lindinvent begins to establish itself beyond Sweden’s borders.
New headquarters in Lund
Lindinvent moves into our current headquarters at Skiffervägen 39. At the same time, new projects are carried out in Norway, including DEG 16 in Oslo. A clear sign of our establishment beyond Sweden’s borders.
Larger assignments and greater visibility
The projects grow, and we receive further recognition when then Minister for Energy Birgitta Dahl presents the Grand Energy Prize to Herman Lindborg.
Award-winning innovation
IDCC wins "Stora Inneklimatspriset" from Slussen.biz. At the same time, our technological development continues, and we can now also offer lighting control.

IDCC changes everything
After intensive development, IDCC is presented – the world’s first supply air device with built-in sensors and control. A technological breakthrough where the user adjusts the settings with a flashlight (!), which soon develops into control via a handheld device. This marks the beginning of something big.
The beginning
1995–1999 The first steps
It all begins with an idea to create better indoor climates through smarter technology. The first projects, the first customer and the early product development lay the foundation for Lindinvent’s future. From the very beginning, there is a strong drive to combine innovation, function and energy efficiency in solutions that make a real difference.
The first steps towards digitalization
A major technological step forward – the control unit is redesigned into a modular system. The first digital control solution is underway.
First projects and first technology
In 1995, Akademiska Hus becomes Lindinvent’s first customer, and the first project is carried out at Wallenberg Neurocentrum in Lund. In 1996, the first controller is launched – an analogue design with no fewer than 51 potentiometers.
